OK ladies. As I’ve grown older, one of the things I had not anticipated was the fact that my eyelashes would be thinning out. So when Sunny at Tease Beauty (check her out here) reached out, I jumped at the opportunity. I had been thinking about it but had always been a bit scared since I have extremely sensitive eyes. I can’t even sit under a ceiling fan without them being agitated and forget about walking outside in the wind. But from the moment I met Sunny she was extremely comforting and patient with me. The process started out by laying on a super comfy bed with a neck pillow.
There was soft music playing and it was very relaxing. She began by taping under my eyes and even though this took a few times for me (sensitive eyes) she never got impatient and was able to make it perfect for me. Once she started, the whole process took about an hour and I could have taken a nap. Seriously, no pain involved. I cannot believe how amazing my eyes looked after. I didn’t have to wear mascara and I could go out without any makeup and still looked put together. It took years off my eyes. My six year old was looking at my before and after pictures and without any prompting from me said that my eyes looked “happier.”
It’s been a week and a half and while a few have fallen out (totally normal) my eyes still look great. I work from home a lot so while it’s probably not something I’ll keep doing on a regular basis, it absolutely is something I’ll add into my routine! I have several large events I attend throughout the year so I’ll definitely be going back for those. If I had a regular office job though, I could definitely see the benefit in keeping them updated. The amount of time it saves you getting ready alone would be worth it! You really can go without makeup at all and still look Please let me know if you have any questions about the process and if you check Sunny out let her know I sent you. You can find her Instagram here for several before and after pics. Thanks Sunny, for getting my eyelashes New York Fashion Week ready! (Post on that coming soon) It was a life saver!
